It was six months after buying this that I actually played it; I wish I'd waited longer. By anyone else, this might have been a pleasant tribute album ...

I do not doubt Richard's talent; I seriously wonder what he's trying to prove.

Anyone making a cover version must think it's better than the original, else why release it? Richard might argue that the pure orchestral/piano stuff is an 'alternative'; he has no defence on the vocal tracks.

"Top Of The World" is a caricature of Karen's celebration of life; "Sandy" leaves me at a loss for words.

As Jay Leno might have said "Richard, what were you thinking of?"
